About Juju Durham

Juju Durham is an asian fusion in Durham, North Carolina. It is listed at 737 9th St #210, Durham, NC 27705, which places it among the local businesses of Durham that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Durham, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across North Carolina run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Durham is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Durham follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We came here early and they let us in w/o reservation even though it was “highly recommended” so that was nice. Service was friendly and attentive, without being overly intrusive. We started with the chicken bun buns and the fried chicken was delicious- we highly recommend! Entree we got the general tsos chicken which was good, fair warning it doesn’t get served with rice like it typically would, rather it comes with a salad. So we had to ask for white rice on the side. Overall this was a nice, quick stop for dinner and we recommend coming!

This place is insane!! We had the best food and each dish was surprisingly better and better. We ordered rangoons , with pork belly bao buns, and bone marrow. I wasn’t so super impressed with the bone marrow however the other apps were great. The lamb chop was seasoned so nicely and the bok Choy had such great flavor with a bit of spice. Can’t wait to come back and try more off the menu

If you’re in Durham, Juju Durham is absolutely worth a visit. The meal was fantastic from start to finish. The pork and chive dumplings, oysters on the half shell (togarashi lemon, Asian pear mignonette), and especially the roasted bone marrow were the clear standouts—each packed with flavor and beautifully executed. The pork belly buns were soft and indulgent, the drunken noodles with NC shrimp had great depth and heat, and the sesame-crusted ahi tuna was fresh, light, and well-balanced. The octopus was nicely charred but needed more sauce. Overall, a creative, flavor-forward menu done right. I’ll definitely be back for the dumplings, oysters, and that unforgettable bone marrow.

Can’t say the food is the best I’ve tried given the price. Pork bun’s bun is very fluffy but the pork itself is a bit dry. The peanut sauce for the veggie roll is simply too sweet. The octopus dish is the best among what we’ve ordered and it’s a shame there’re only 2 pieces of octopus legs. The service and the atmosphere are really nice though.

Really tasty Asian fusion. Dishes are impressive, small bites that are great for sharing. Came here with a group and had a great time. Prices are reasonable for the quality that you get, and cocktails are rather unique. Definitely would recommend for a nicer occasion.
